Red Fish, Blue Fish,...

After church we went to Bass Pro to buy me a life vest (as you know if you read Otto's Blog). I loved watching the fish in their huge tank. They were not quite as colorful as the ones in my room but they were much larger. I think the fish liked my bright red shirt.

Maiden Voyage

After our trip to Bass Pro, we went for a boat ride with Holt, Jennie, and Otto. I had a great time. I felt right at home on the open sea. Okay, it was really just a large lake but you get my meaning. Mama was surprised at how comfortable I was in my sunglasses and life vest. I am looking forward to being able to get into the water soon. Thanks for the fun Captain Holt.

Egg Hunt

Today, I went to my first Easter Egg Hunt. With a little help from Papa, I found a few eggs. I also got to swing in a real swing.

Party At My Crib

I Love Carrots

Since the rice cereal was not getting along with my tummy, I convinced Mommy to give me some carrots. They taste great but I am having a hard time getting the hang of keeping them in my mouth long enough to swallow them.

I tried a little bit of rice cereal tonight. I was not a fan. Papa said we would try again next weekend. (I am not so sure.)

Get Well Soon...

I got sick yesterday and Dr. Baker said that I had to spend the night in the hospital. I will spare you the details and just let you know that I am feeling better today. I am not quite up to speed yet so I am going to take it easy for a few days. Mommy and I made a video just to let everyone see how happy I am to be back home. Check out my new Bulldog that Mom's friend, Daisy gave me at the hospital. I also got a new blue bear from my ER nurse. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Let's Go Shopping

After church today, I got to do one of my favorite things with a new twist. When we went shopping at Target, I got to ride sitting up in the shopping cart. In the past, I have always stayed in my carrier, Mama's arms, or the Baby Bjorn. Today, Mama decided that since I can sit up so well, I could try riding in the actual shopping cart. It was like a whole new world of sights for me. Papa and Mama were laughing at me looking all around at everything.

Fun With The Hoban's

Today my friends Bill, Meredith, and Caroline came to visit. We had a great day visiting with them. Bill and Meredith were so inspired by my September days video that they are going to have Baby #2 this September!

I Love Dogs

Mama and Papa took me with them to their Sunday School Party at Brad and Debi's house. I got to hang out with their dog Tobi who I immediately fell in love with. After hanging out for a while with everybody, I went to sleep in my pack and play that Papa conveniently brought with us.

Screamin' Hips Rivers

After staying in North Carolina last night, we went to South Carolina today. Mama and Papa went to a Dr. Gary Chapman seminar on marriage while I hung out with some other kids my age. After all our fun, I was so hungry. We went to Sticky Fingers for some great ribs and live blues music. I loved the music and learned that my blues name is Screamin' Hips Rivers.

FIVE

I am five months old today. Unfortunately the traditional gift for someone turning five months old is a cold. So no pictures today. I will have Mama take some when I am feeling better.
Here is a picture of me and Papa from this past Saturday. I am wearing one of my Valentine's shirts that says "I Stole Mommy's Heart". Oh how true that is.

Voting is fun!

Mama took me with her to vote today. She said that it is very important that we vote even though we had a long day and just wanted to go home.

Super Bowl XLII

The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots 17 to 14. I went to a Super Bowl Party at Holt and Jennie's house but Mama forgot to take my picture.

Pockets Are Great!

Mama, Papa and I got an early start this morning. We drove to Powder Springs this morning to visit. First we went to breakfast where I got to meet a lot of Grandad's friends. Then we went to see Great Granny and Paw-Paw. Granny did a little singing and dancing for me and Paw-Paw taught me what pockets are for. He asked me what was in my pockets and I smartly said nothing. He said that I could not have empty pockets . He put a nicely folded dollar into my pocket. I was so excited to have something in my pocket for the first time that I kept checking on it to make sure I did not loose it. When we got back home, Papa put my dollar in my piggy bank.

Happy Birthday Aunt Kim!

After visiting with Great Granny and Paw-Paw. We went to lunch with Aunt Kim, Brandon, Grammy, and Grandpa at the Cheesecake Factory. Then we went to Aunt Kim's house. We missed Aunt Kim's party at the Border last night but she saved some party fun for me.

Today I got my second set of shots. I weigh 14 pounds and 2 ounces. I am 25.5 inches tall. Dr. Baker said that I looked great and to keep doing what we are doing.

Look How I Have Grown

I will be 20 weeks old tomorrow. Look how much I have grown. We took the infant insert out of my car seat because I passed the weight limit for it. I am still able to enjoy my headrest though. The picture of tiny me is from the day we came home from the hospital. The other 2 are from today. The outfit is the same. Mama was surprised that it even fit today until she looked back at how big it was on me when I was 2 days old.

David & David

Today I went to Chick-fil-A in Athens and met David Greene and David Pollack. Papa said they used to play football at Georgia before I was born. All I know is that they were very nice and they signed my football for me.

Baby Dedication

At evening church, Mama, Papa, and I got to go up on stage where Papa introduced us to everyone. Mama and Papa dedicated themselves to raising me in a Christian home and vowed to teach me about Jesus and His Love.

Church

Since there was a low turnout at church this morning, Mama and Papa let me go to their Sunday School class and Big Church.
