PJ Time

I have been so busy since I turned seven months old. I had to fight off a cold which meant another trip to see Dr. Baker last Friday. He said that I was doing good and would shake it off. He was right. He also said that he thought I was getting a tooth. Right again. Mama tried to take a picture of it but just got this cute picture of me putting my PJs on.

Growing...

Today, I went to Dr. Baker's office for a well visit. I now weigh 16 pounds and 2 ounces. I am 25 3/4 inches tall. Dr. Baker said that I am doing great! I am rolling over constantly. I love saying "Da da", something that Mom is sure is "Hey", and many other special baby words. I am working on my wave and blowing kisses. I can sit up well, turn in circles on my belly, scoot backwards a little, and even "crawl" if Papa holds his hands for me to push off of. I love riding in the stroller and playing with toys especially my penguin and my bulldog.

Yard Work

Today, I worked very hard in my back yard doing some landscaping. I cleaned out an area and put in new plants and pine straw. Mama, Papa, and I had so much fun.

Dawgs Win!

I did not get to go to the G Day Game with Papa today because of the rain but I did practice cheering at home.

Red Fish, Blue Fish,...

After church we went to Bass Pro to buy me a life vest (as you know if you read Otto's Blog). I loved watching the fish in their huge tank. They were not quite as colorful as the ones in my room but they were much larger. I think the fish liked my bright red shirt.

Maiden Voyage

After our trip to Bass Pro, we went for a boat ride with Holt, Jennie, and Otto. I had a great time. I felt right at home on the open sea. Okay, it was really just a large lake but you get my meaning. Mama was surprised at how comfortable I was in my sunglasses and life vest. I am looking forward to being able to get into the water soon. Thanks for the fun Captain Holt.

Egg Hunt

Today, I went to my first Easter Egg Hunt. With a little help from Papa, I found a few eggs. I also got to swing in a real swing.

Party At My Crib

I Love Carrots

Since the rice cereal was not getting along with my tummy, I convinced Mommy to give me some carrots. They taste great but I am having a hard time getting the hang of keeping them in my mouth long enough to swallow them.

Let's Eat!

I tried a little bit of rice cereal tonight. I was not a fan. Papa said we would try again next weekend. (I am not so sure.)

Get Well Soon...

I got sick yesterday and Dr. Baker said that I had to spend the night in the hospital. I will spare you the details and just let you know that I am feeling better today. I am not quite up to speed yet so I am going to take it easy for a few days. Mommy and I made a video just to let everyone see how happy I am to be back home. Check out my new Bulldog that Mom's friend, Daisy gave me at the hospital. I also got a new blue bear from my ER nurse. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Let's Go Shopping

After church today, I got to do one of my favorite things with a new twist. When we went shopping at Target, I got to ride sitting up in the shopping cart. In the past, I have always stayed in my carrier, Mama's arms, or the Baby Bjorn. Today, Mama decided that since I can sit up so well, I could try riding in the actual shopping cart. It was like a whole new world of sights for me. Papa and Mama were laughing at me looking all around at everything.

Fun With The Hoban's

Today my friends Bill, Meredith, and Caroline came to visit. We had a great day visiting with them. Bill and Meredith were so inspired by my September days video that they are going to have Baby #2 this September!
